Do Australian Shepherds go well with shelties?
I have a shelties and she loves to play.
Do Australian shepherds enjoy being around and play with shelties?
Yes they do. I have a neighbor that has a 3 year old Aussie, and a 1 year old Sheltie. They do great together. I see them play all the time when they're outside in their owners yard.
I think they should go very well together.
Australian sheperds are very active dogs and need companions that also enjoy activity and playing or they will get on each other nerves.
Shelties and australian sheperds generally have the same kind of traits – they are great with people and other dogs and are highly intelligent.
Australian sheperds excell at obediance and agility.

A friend of mine has one and it does well with their other dog. So far it has been friendly with all the dogs it comes into contact with. They take it to a dog park and it gets along with all the dogs there too. Good luck they are beautiful dogs.
