    Urgh. Don't support hobby breeders!

First, you cannot register Miniature Australian Shepherds with the AKC because the AKC does not recognize them as a breed. The AKC will only register standard-size Australian Shepherds.

Second, there's absolutely zero information about CERF, OFA, or any other health checks on the parents. The Miniature Australian Shepherds are / can be registered with the National Stock Dog Association but there are no working titles on the parents, or even sports titles on the parents.

And without any titles or health checks on the parents they expect people to pay $1000 for these puppies? *LOL*

These dogs don't "need" homes. They were bred by an irresponsible Backyard Breeder – exactly what the AKC poo-poos.

Dogs that "need" homes are the products of this – the ones who are the products bad breeders and then end up in high-kill shelters trying to dodge the needle. Instead of violating the Yahoo! Answers policies and spamming for a backyard breeder, why not try to get the word out about responsible breeding and sites like http://www.petfinder.com. Petfinder is a site full of dogs that actually *need* homes.
